Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan is one ridiculously long title title. I’m just gonna refer to it as Borat from now on. Borat is a movie that is guaranteed to offend everyone who watches it. From the envelope pusher himself, Sacha Baron Cohen delivers a mockumentary about a man from “Kazakhstan” who journeys to America. On his way he discovers all sorts of colorful characters and even manages to find his true love, Pamela Anderson. Borat is a movie that I’ve always known about, but never watched. I remember when the movie first came out. The hype surrounding it was huge. Borat definitely became an iconic character that everybody was quoting. Even people that never watched Da Ali G Show. I guarantee you that just about everybody knows at least one line from the movie. It’s the kind of movie that will keep you laughing despite your better judgement. It’s truly hard to believe that people in this movie actually thought it was real. Borat is hilariously far fetched. Just don’t watch it with your parents.
